A big congratulations goes out to Gotye for picking up four iTunes Rewind 2011 awards, which featured:

Song of the Year - Gotye, "Somebody That I Used to Know"
Australian Album of the Year - Gotye, "Making Mirrors"
Alternative Song of the Year - Gotye, "Somebody That I Used to Know"
Alternative Australian Album of the Year - Gotye, "Making Mirrors"

Everybody at Gotye HQ is as proud as punch of Wally and this caps off a huge 2011.

London Making Mirrors Launch + Aus News

Following two sold out shows in London earlier this year, Gotye will celebrate the release of Making Mirrors in the UK with an intimate show at Wilton's Music Hall on 13th February 2012.

We have some exciting news for those folks heading along to the Perth shows at Belvoir Amphitheatre in December. Melbourne duo Big Scary will be joining Husky as support on 9th, 10th and 12th December. Having just released their ARIA top 40 debut album to much critical acclaim, Big Scary will be sure to delight those arriving early.

Just a reminder tickets for the Perth show on Monday 12th December are still on sale through Ticketmaster

And one final note before signing off, Gotye has received 7 nominations at this year's ARIA Awards - having already won 3 pre-show, he is up for Best Male Artist, Best Pop Release, Single of the Year and Highest Selling Single on the night.

Australian viewers can tune in for all the action from 7:30pm AEST this Sunday night on Go!

Third Perth show announced

Following two sold out shows at Belvoir Amphitheatre in Perth, Gotye is pleased to announce a third date.

Monday 12th December

Belvoir Amphitheatre

Tickets are on sale Friday 4th November through Ticketmaster

This will be the last date announced on the acclaimed Making Mirrors tour for 2011, and will once again feature the stunning ten-piece orchestra that has wowed Australian audiences around the country.

Melbourne quartet Husky will be heading west for these three shows as main support. They've just released their debut album Forever So and their live set is not to be missed.

Gotye is currently playing sold out shows across the UK and Europe but will be back in Australia soon for more shows and a string of festival appearances during the New Year period.
